- 1987: Invented FAXCAST Facsmile Broadcast system using the Vertical Blanking Interval of a television signal. The facsimile broadcast receiver invented went to volume production with Lucky Goldstar, Korea. The system was deployed on various TV networks including NBC in the USA, ITV in the UK, Channel 7 in Australia, TV New Zealand, Doordashan in India. Publications broadcast on the system included the fax edition of the New York Times, McGraw-Hill Platts Oil News, UPI news feed. End users included Xinhua News Agency, China, Yonhap News Agency Korea, Embassies of various countries in Asia. The system was also trialed by the Pentagon and GCHQ as a method of broadcasting facsimile alerts to military personnel without betraying their location.
- 1992: NEWS FROM FAXCAST NEW YORK, NEW YORK, USA (TS) -- FAXCAST Europe recently joined with The New York Times Information Services Division to provide satellite delivery of the TimesFAX to attendees of The ITB Travel show in Berlin. The eight-page edition of TimesFAX was transmitted on March 4-8. The TimesFAX edition is a daily digest from The New York Times of the same day. "FAXCAST is the only company in the world capable of offering simultaneous broadcast facsimile service over the air to an unlimited number of subscribers, so we are uniquely qualified to deliver the TimesFAX," says Vince Waterson, director of technology at FAXCAST USA, Inc. Separately, FAXCAST recently signed an agreement with NBC Data Network which allows the company to use NBC's broadcast signal as part of its proposed launch of a U.S. broadcast fax network. In addition, FAXCAST is testing the distribution of daily summaries of major national and international newspapers using the signals of NBC-owned stations, and CNBC. The company is a leading designer and manufacturer of data distribution technology using direct satellite, cable and television broadcast signals to reach end-users. Its technology has allowed its customers to dramatically reduce the cost of sending faxes via telephone lines. In Europe, the signal is carried on the VBI over the BSkyB-TV channels.

1998: Invented Information Television Channel a system which used the VBI of a satellite TV broadcast network and was designed to provide cable TV operators with a split screen TV guide/Video and text advertising.
Equipment went into small scale production. End users were cable TV companies in several Asian countries with Data Collection Centers for curating TV program guides located in Subic Bay, Philippines and Bangkok, Thailand. The service was broadcast on both AsiaSat2 and Thaicom3 Satellites. |

2006 Invented VideoKall Migrant Remittance Video Payphone System designed to enable US based migrant workers to use video payphones installed in US shopping malls to have two way video calls with similar Video Pay Phones installed in shopping malls in the Philippines, India and Mexico.
The system would enable dependents to receive payments via smart cards inserted into shopping mall Video Payphones during a two way video call with their relatives. In 2007 the system was awarded Innovation of the Year Award at an International Money Transfer Association Award in London. |

2010: Invented Unmanned Micro Clinic (formerly known as MEDEXSPOT now know as CLINICSTOP (R). 9208287 US Patent Awarded
The small footprint of the VideoKall Unmanned Micro Clinic cabin enables it to be located in the most trafficked part of a retail store to raise awareness and attract patients. Ideally the cabin will be branded with the name of a leading hospital which will reassure patients that they are effectively entering an annex of the hospital when they enter the cabin. The VideoKall Unmanned Micro Clinic cabin is shipped flat packed and installed on site in a matter of hours together with a small VSAT satellite antenna which ensures that the cabin does not occupy bandwidth on the retail outlet internet connection. |

2019: Invented the Telediagnosis Smart Medical Chair for location in Sprinter type vehicles equipped with auto-seek VSAT antenna to connect a patient sitting in the SMC with a PC or Tablet computer at a Medical Call Center loaded with proprietary software. This software enables qualified medical staff at a Medical Call Center to have audio/video communications with patient and control all the vital signs instruments mounted on the SMC and receive real time data enabling a thorough Telediagnosis to be carried out on the patient. The new mobile system is branded CLINICSTOPMOBILE(TM). Vince Waterson has one patent awarded and one pending on the equipment in the SMC, registered design with the US Copyright Office plus trade secrets on the electromechanical, electronics hardware and software incorporated in the SMC and software used in the MCC terminal
